Rex&GG 2019 Conference will cover a wide variety of topics related to recrystallization and grain growth phenomena in various materials, including metals, minerals and ceramics, for structural, functional and geological materials. Also specialized characterization techniques of annealing phenomena will be addressed at the Conference.

The Recrystallization and Grain Growth Conference is held every three years and it continues a tradition of Conferences that started in the 1990s, with the first joint Recrystallization and Grain Growth Conference being held at the RWTH in Aachen in 2001. The Conference aims to attract an audience both from academia and industry, with the aim of unravelling the physics of thermally activated annealing processes. Both theoretical and observation based knowledge are included in the scope of the Conference, which covers the following non-exhaustive list of topical interests:
